Q1. What conventions, Multilateral or Bilateral agreements are pertinent to the protection of trade identities in your jurisdiction? At present, Russia is a signatory and party as to the following agreements pertinent to protection of trade identities: Paris Convention, Trademark Law Treaty, Madrid Agreement, Protocol (relating to Madrid Agreement), Nice Agreement (concerning ICGS), Singapore Treaty on the Law of Trademarks, Nairobi Treaty on the Protection of the Olympic Symbol.
